APS-U

The APS-U provides multi-frequency GNSS capability together with GNSS Heading, L-Band positioning and wireless communications within a rugged MIL-STD-810 housing for the broadest range of applications.

For maximum flexibility, the design is scalable from a single GNSS receiver to full options with Heading, wireless links and TERRASTAR L-Band positioning. The APS-U has an additional processor for on-board configuration and custom applications separate from the GNSS engine. The rear panel has an extensive suite of interfaces for data output, timing, event marks, and a second antenna port for GNSS Heading.

Integrated wireless options include Bluetooth® for easy configuration, plus a GSM cellular modem and UHF radio modem for reception of RTK corrections.

APS-U Application

The APS-U feature a rugged aluminum housing, designed with optional brackets that enable mounting in virtually any orientation.

The rear panel includes the required interfaces for integration with peripheral equipment or other sensor. Application requiring 1PPS, Event Markets and data interfaces are easily connected with provided cable assemblies.

For applications requiring Heading, the APS-U provides accurate GNSS Heading from dual GNSS antennas incorporated into one receiver. Even further, for remote surveys, the APS-U utilizes TERRASTAR D corrections to deliver 10cm accuracy without the use of local base stations, terrestrial radios or cellular modems.
